How to Organise the Wardrobe

The chaos of a mess wardrobe can be solved in just an afternoon with a good plan and some elfa? storage solutions!

Wardrobes can quickly turn into nightmares without time and consideration. In this elfa? makeover, we started with a plan, establishing zones where everything needed for daily life would be in reach, while allocating higher shelves to less frequently used items.

Solution : Linen Cupboard Organisation

A Beautifully folded, fresh linen stored in neat stacks might be the ideal for a linen cupboard, but without good organisation, a simple search for a matching pillowcase can turn the whole cupboard in to a chaotic mess.

Most of us have several different sheet sets that never seem to stay together; we also tend to use the towels on top over and over while those below stay fresh, new and unused. Getting these items organised isn’t just about maximising space – it’s about saving time and reducing stress.

To better utilise the remaining shelves, Space Bag Cubes and Totes were used to reduce the bulk of doonas, blankets and pillows. These were then moved to the top shelf to stay fresh and ready for the change of season. A DampRid tub was placed on the shelf to keep moisture away from the stored items.

If you stop to think about the role a mother plays in a family, it is an important one. She is the ultimate multitasker, a superhero. Her role includes a multitude of jobs. She becomes a chef, a cleaner, a taxi driver, a carer and a friend.

Thankfully there is a day set aside to celebrate that special lady in your family. It is a time to spoil Mum and show her how much she is loved and appreciated.
